Hi people!

It has been a long time since we last saw one another. Also, since Christmas is drawing nearer, why not celebrate this festive season together?

HI! How's everyone?

OG8 and the fun time with OG8 just struck my mind so I'm here to make a quick post. And yes, time flies! It seems like yesterday but orientation has passed for SIX months. Unbelievable right? For those still in college, are you guys coping well with your MYE? For the rest, how's life for you?

I've always been inspired by my own OGL who then graduated with 3 distinctions in H2. He was from Dragon Boat, a hectic CCA which robs much of the students' study time, and it's because of this which made me respect him even more. The other time I talked to him was after he got back his results. Having aced his As, he told me life was finally a breeze because he could choose any course he wanted in university. I hope I can be like him - to not only make an positive impact on people's lives but also do well in whatever I endeavour.

In short, I miss OG8 and I hope you guys can do well in whatever you put in effort for. Good luck for all your future endeavours! :)

I got bored this afternoon so i came up with a few stupid but supposedly theoratically mathematically correct equations, and here i am sharing with you:

Questions:

1) Prove that 25=9
2) Prove that -2=2
3) Prove that 9 is not equal to 9

Answers:
1) Bring the power to 0 on both sides. Therefore both sides are equal to 1
2) square both sides
3) square root both side, one giving = +3, the other =3

og 8!!! hi hi, it's been a long time since i've posted on this blog.

i know that all of us are slowly getting occupied with our own curriculum and stuff, but still, it's nice to see you all around the school time and again, even though sometimes all we can do is to exchange a greeting and smile.

anyway, i've come to advertise an odac activity to all of you. i hope some of you have been listening to the announcements or have seen the tv broadcast in school. in any case, odac is opening up a one-day activity at punggol end for the school, called 'the kaleidoscope', and i strongly encourage you all to participate if you all have the time. it's held on 8th march (a saturday), and the estimated duration is from 7 am to 11.30 pm. in this activity, you will truly get a taste of the outdoors, and challenge your limits (both physically and mentally). be prepared to get dirty as well =)

note that you do NOT have to join odac as a cca to join this event! yup, there's a participation fee of $12, and this includes dinner and a free insect repellent. there will be transportation from punggol end if you live along the route that the hired bus takes. if otherwise, we will provide you with information from the street directory, so don't worry=)

Hello all!
Yo, I'm in a rush as I'm writing this so pardon me for any blunders! LOL!

Firstly, congrats to most for attaining such fabulous O level results! Most didn't reply my SMS, so I was quite worried. But my worries were placed at ease when Louis sent me about half of the OG's results just now.

Pple, I just wanna say, even if u've not done as well, dun give up! O level, seriously, doesn't mean much-u'll know and feel it more if u continue your education in a junior college. So, never be defeated by the results, I believe u guys will succeed one day!

As for the rest, are u guys staying in Nanyang? Hopefully yes! In any case, wherever u choose to go, do work hard. JC, sad to say, is hardcore mugging! & u guys have ponned so many lessons liao, it's time for serious work!

I'm an epitome of someone who has good O level results but a failing case in JC. The expected grade, given my L1R5 (of 9 in case some off u dunno), is 4 As. Yet for promo(end yr exam), I scored NO As-all Cs, not factoring the Languages' grades.

So, endeavour in whatever u do!

Btw, Iwatched The One semi-final juz now. haha! loads of fun! rmb that Cedarian who cracked a super lame joke at I-space during orientation? She sang!-she was so cute and funny and she sang well too! do u guys wanna watch the finals? If u guys wan, then faster tell me, so I can inform Iceman for reservation of the tickets! haha! He's very inflexible so must tell me faster. lol!

Last year, the O level results were released on the day of The One's final and there was fear of a poor turn-up rate. Though eventually, many turned up, the J2s last year included as well...(side-track a little. hah!)

As for now, please start catching up with all your tutorials or u're gonna end up like me-seeing all the As plummeting to D, E, S & U!

Initiate more OG activities before Dharma, Zhiling and I get too busy with our studies.

Just wanted to say briefly that the past two weeks has been absolutely awesome, and that I couldn’t be more thankful. Since this post is gonna appear on both my blog and the OG8 blog, I just wanna say in advance that I’ll say what I really feel deep down, and I hope you respect my opinion and apologise in advance if what I type is not your cup of tea.

I remember that at the end of 2007, I was feeling very apprehensive about a new beginning, that I’d have to fit in once again in a rather foreign environment with no one that I knew previously. Deep down, I didn’t know how to feel about JC life, or the people that I would meet. It’s all the more now, that I really thank God that I was placed in the midst of a bunch of noisy, loud, lame, yet friendly and approachable people.

Honestly, if anyone told me I would be having this much fun with people I only got to know last Monday, I would just laugh in your face. It’s really next to impossible, that a bunch of strangers who just met like 9 days ago could grow so close, so fast.

I know, I know, starting next week, no more OG8. We go into our different classes. But I’d rather choose to look on the bright side. This is the first real test of the bonds that we’ve forged over the last week or so. Put simply, if we can still go about “huat ah-ing” two weeks from now, we really have become good friends. I choose to believe that we can still maintain our closeness and daily spamming activities on MSN. I choose to believe we can start our new and exclusive clique.

We end our journey as an OG. We start a new one, as friends. As corny as it sounds, I truly want us to remain B.F.F. So, who’s willing to join me on this next chapter of our journies?
